About
Native to Southern New England, I am a graduate of Eastern Connecticut State University in Willimantic, CT. I graduated with a BA in visual arts with my major concentration in digital art & design and a minor in studio art with a 3.9 GPA. But I have always had a passion for art & design, ever since I picked up my late grandfather's SLR for an afternoon and then developed that first roll; I couldn't go back.
For years I have been building my skills in graphic design, drawing, photography, painting and mixed media. I have worked in both isolation and in collaboration with peers. I pull my inspiration from travel, music, people power, art nouveau and lots of coffee. My style ranges from intricate and retro to sleek and modern.
I have worked professionally in graphic design for the past ten years within the Office of University Relations at Eastern Connecticut State University, Camaro Signs, Inc. in Norwich, CT and currently as a prepress graphic designer at Rand Whitney Container in Worcester, MA. During this time I have also maintained a growing list of freelance clients including Black Pond Brews, the band "Seed", the Mattatuck Museum Art & History Center of Waterbury, CT, the Northeast Connecticut Farmers Market, Solar Seed Hydroponics of Chepatchet, RI, TeedHaze of San Fransisco, CA amongst many others.
I have extensive experience in large format CMYK printing and have the knowledge base to create vehicle wraps, design for screen printing, large banner installations, environmental graphics and package design. Working for University Relations while maintaining their branding standards and also creating brands from scratch for clients has given me the expertise to give any organization or business a look of their own that stays consistent for maximum brand recognition.
